Hey, dive friends! It’s Kristi and Richard here, and we wanted to share something close to our hearts—our PADI Junior Divemaster Program at DiversInnMX.
We’ve spent years watching young divers grow, learn, and fall in love with the ocean, and it’s truly inspiring. This program is designed for those 15 to 17 years old who are eager to take the next step, not just in diving but in becoming role models and mentors for others who share their passion for the sea.
Why We Love This Program
We’ve seen firsthand how this experience builds confidence, leadership, and a deeper appreciation for the ocean. It’s not just about checking off skills—it’s about learning how to support fellow divers, care for the environment, and become a trusted part of the dive community.
Our Junior Divemasters get to assist on real dive operations, help new divers feel comfortable in the water, and even lead snorkel tours. We also spend time exploring marine conservation efforts and how we can all do our part to protect the incredible biodiversity of the Sea of Cortez. It’s incredible to watch these young divers grow into their roles, and honestly, it’s one of our favorite parts of what we do.
Who Can Join?
If you’re between 15 and 17, we’d love to have you be part of this journey. Whether you’re thinking about a future in diving or just want to challenge yourself and become a stronger, more confident diver, this program is a great way to do it. We have scholarships available!
