PADI Junior Divemaster at DiversInnMX
The PADI Junior Divemaster program is a unique opportunity for young divers aged 15–17 to take their first step toward becoming a PADI professional. This program mirrors the full Divemaster course, focusing on leadership skills, dive supervision, and assisting instructors, but is tailored to develop younger divers at their own pace.
As a Junior Divemaster, you’ll gain hands-on experience in scuba safety, risk management, dive site mapping, and guiding certified divers. You’ll also assist with Discover Scuba Diving programs and gear setup while building confidence, knowledge, and skills that will prepare you to complete the full Divemaster certification when you turn 18.

We Provide The Perfect Solution Junior Divemasters
Join our exclusive Junior Divemaster Program! At DiversInnMX, we’re thrilled to offer the PADI Junior Divemaster course for young divers eager to take their skills to the next level. As proud graduates of PADI’s beta program in 2023-2024, we successfully guided our first Junior Divemaster through this exciting journey. Now, we’re ready to welcome a select group of just four students for our 2025 program, running from June 23 to August 2.
Pre-requisites include:
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver & PADI Rescue Diver certifications
- Minimum age of 15
- A minimum of 20 logged dives
As a Junior Divemaster, you’ll:
- Assist with dive site setup and management
- Provide surface support
- Aid PADI Instructors during skill demonstrations
- Deliver supervised dive site briefings
- Present on environmental and promotional topics

Emergency Action Plans
Each program operates under a detailed emergency action plan tailored to our location and activities. Plans identify nearby medical facilities and resources for emergency care or evacuations. Our team is extensively trained to handle emergencies, and we maintain a dedicated 24-hour emergency hotline monitored by DiversInnMX staff.
Expert Staff Training
Our instructors undergo intensive training to prepare them for leading programs safely and effectively. This includes comprehensive instruction in risk management, decision-making, and group leadership, ensuring your experience is as safe as it is memorable.
Medically Trained Responders
At least one instructor on every program is certified in advanced first aid, such as Wilderness First Aid (WFA), Wilderness First Responder (WFR), or equivalent qualifications. They are equipped to manage minor injuries, administer CPR, and make sound medical decisions when time is critical.
Student Involvement in Safety
We believe safety is a shared responsibility. Our programs teach students to evaluate and manage risks, fostering an environment where everyone contributes to their own well-being and that of others—an invaluable life skill both in and out of the water.
